20 min speed painting. On this one I tried out the lasso tool again to get the basic shape than I used a cloud brush at 50% translucent and just tapped in the darker shades.

A acrylic paint I did(Took me 3 hours) I'm not happy with the results but it was fun.

Two speed paintings I did, 10 mins each using random brushes.

This is my first attempt at a speed painting (20 Mins) I was trying a new technic out that I saw where you just use the lasso tool.

I had a friend ask me to paint an image for a book she was making for her mom. She asked if I could emulate an artist from a children's book. I can't remember the name of the artist or else I would give credit. I wanted to have two story's each of them about reading to someone so I separated the two images by a break wall. The sketch I did, and than I just emulated the artist style and texture of their painting. I also wanted it to be apparent that this was a painting...I didn't want the edges for the composition to be the ending of the painting. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Hello to anyone who reads this blog. I am in the progress of making a Weebly site for my portfolio pieces and I want to use this site for blogging, so basically anything that i'm interested in or that I'm currently working on will be on here. After completing collage I was burned out; and with it my love of art, as time heals a lot of things, so to did my love for art recently return. I can't say that I know what kind of artist I am, because I like lots of different creative avenues. What I do know is that I like to create stuff. God has some plan for me that I'm not sure of right now, so my plan is to just move forward instead of just sitting still and your welcome to join in with me on my creative journey.
